Dear Parents and Families,

On behalf of the staff at Corona Ranch  Elementary School, we are happy to welcome you to the 2026-2027 school year!

I’d like to take this opportunity to share a little more about myself. My passion for teaching and working with children began at a young age. I have known since first grade that I wanted to be a teacher, and I feel tremendously fortunate to have built a career doing what I love.

After high school, I was accepted into a performing arts company and traveled the world for two years, teaching and performing with students ranging in age from 6 to 22. I then enrolled at California State University, Fullerton, where I earned my bachelor’s degree, teaching credential, and master’s degree. While in college, I also worked as a special education paraprofessional in schools throughout CNUSD.

From 2010 to 2016, I served as a special education teacher, first at Victress Bower and later at Eleanor Roosevelt High School. While teaching, I earned my administrative credential through California Baptist University and began my administrative career as the Assistant Principal of Activities at Santiago High School. Working alongside exceptional student leaders and helping cultivate a school culture as dynamic as Santiago’s was truly one of the highlights of my career.

In 2022, I joined the Corona Ranch family as Assistant Principal and truly found a home here. I am elated to step into the role of Principal and honored to have the opportunity to lead the best elementary school in CNUSD. I look forward to continuing to serve our students, families, staff, and community and building upon all that makes Corona Ranch such a special place.

We are looking forward to a productive partnership with you to ensure your children can achieve their highest potential. We understand that in order to be successful in school, our children need support from both the home and school. We know a strong partnership with you will make a great difference in your child’s education. As partners, we share the responsibility for our children’s success and want you to know that we will do our very best to carry out our responsibilities. We ask that you guide and support your child’s learning by ensuring that they:

  1. Attend school daily and arrive on time, ready for the day’s learning experience. The gates close at 7:45am.

  2. Complete all assignments given by teachers.

  3. Read daily to develop a love for reading and to improve literacy skills.

  4. Share school experiences with you so that you are aware of their school life.

  5. Inform you if they need additional support in any area or subject.

  6. Know that you expect them to succeed in school as they prepare for their academic future.

Please consider joining our school PTA and also becoming involved within our school community.  All students benefit from your involvement. Your child’s teacher is looking forward to foster a positive relationship with you and your child this year. See our front office for requirements on becoming a parent volunteer on campus.

Our ultimate goal is to provide our students, families, teachers, and community with positive learning experiences in a nurturing environment. Many of you have already met me, but in case you have not, I would love for you to say hi. We make a point of being in the parking lot for student drop-off/pick-up and we encourage you to introduce your child to us. We thank you for your support and look forward to getting to know you.
